I’ve been super busy over the weekend and done a heap of pages for my album for our Christmas trip to England.  Here are my layouts from the past few day.  Not much else to post – hope you enjoy looking at the pix.

Chilly?

We don't look toooooo bad seeing as we'd just been off the plane from Australia!

Self-timers on the camera rock

He was very, very excited!

Not totally happy with the title - need to figure out how to make it pop a bit more.

Same problem with this title!

I used the sketch from Scrap Therapy's Cyber Scrap Challenge for this one. Really like this sketch. You had to do some distressing/painting and/or inking for this one too.

Recognise the sketch? Yup, did two pages using it, but they will be quite a few pages apart so don't think anyone would notice.

I used Rachel's Heidi Swapp distresser on these pix - I want one now!

Great scupltures!

I made this last weekend (I think) but forgot to share it with you. It's a set of flatpack drawers from Kaiser and covered with their new prairie lane collection and with a rubon on the top. nice i thought.

more cropping goodness

November 17, 2009 at 7:20 am (Hand made things by me) (, , , , , )

I kept busy for the remaineder of the weekend.  Here is a quick look at the goodies I made…

Kaisercraft desk calendars - bought these on super special at my local scrap shop as they had 09 calendars - resigned some 2010 calendars themed in colours to match each calendar. Mostly Kaisercraft stuff to decorate them.

Another calendar on special from LSS.

This challenge was to make a garland (the suggestion was stars, but you could do anything). I got a whole lot of inspiration from here...http://thesmithgirlsspot.blogspot.com/2008/11/christmas-garlandbanner.html I'm looking forward to being able to go get some extra xmas decs to jazz it up a bit more.

Another 'gift can'. Really, really love these.

Thanks Little Scrapbooking Shop Design Team for great challenges and all the ladies over there for a great croppy weekend.

scrap-a-licious weekend

Well, what a busy weekend.  I’ve been doing The Little Scrapbooking Shop’s monthly cyberscrap.  Certainly been challenging and fun.  These are my accomplishments…

card challenge - make a card with ribbon backgrou, 3 hand drawn accents and follow the sketch provided

This was a 'how to' challenge - we were given a tutorial on how to design your own bling accents and make them. This is my effort.

This layout had to use at least 4 colours of the rainbow, a mosaic feature and the phrase 'always look on the bright side of life'

The hardest page - we had to scrap an photo of our feet and include journaling. we also had to get some design inspiration from a photo montage from monty python

So have I had time to do anything else this weekend?  Well on Friday afternoon we had a couple of beers at the pub and I played my first game of darts, which I was not very good at but had fun anyway.  We also went over to Collie to Woolworths, which was pretty boring but the drive over there and back was nice, the rain has made everything sooooo green it almost hurts the eyes!
