pecking with the chooks

I’ve had a busy weekend – yesterday I went to Chook Scraps’ Midnight Madness (only stayed til 5:30pm cos we had to go to friends’ for dinner) and I was getting into the Chook Scraps’ CyberCrop Challenges.  I’m not usually a shabby chic type of girl but I really love those Webster papers and they seemed perfect for the challenges (which were all based on a Shakespearean theme).  Here’s what I came up with…

Challenge One asked for lace, ruffles/pleating, a circle and hand stitching.

The second challenged asked for an animal or tree, a heart, 2 photos and a black element not including text or doodling.

This was my take on challenge three which was a sketch challenge.

The final challenge was to make a card which was vintage style, paper with writing on and a button. I love this challenge so much I made a few more cards.

Three of the cards I made when I was on a roll 🙂

More cards 🙂

Last week I did one of the challenges in the Little Scrapbooking Shop Cybercrop.  I would have liked to do more but on Saturday afternoon I sliced my index finger open on the food process blade and had to get my friend Karen to take me to hospital to get patched up and it was way too tended to do too much (one page was all I could manage!!!)

This was a challenge to scrap a creature - so I had a little photo shoot with our fur-girl.
