My class had a great day today, we looked at the chemistry of baking bread – lots of fun and we made lots of observations about chemical and physical changes in baking. Here is our lovely golden bread….

I live in south west Western Australia in a tiny town. I used to be a high school English teacher but now I work in a primary school teaching my lovely Year 6/7 class. I live with my darling partner, our crazy cool dog and a psychotic (no joke) cat. I love most crafts and I sell my fabric creations through my shops on Etsy and Made It and sometimes I get excited and have a stall at markets. As well as sew bags and accessories, you'll find me patchworking, scrapbooking, card making, baking, readings and sometimes dabble in some other crafts like mosaic, jewellery making and painting/drawing. I love travelling and going to new places both in Australia and overseas. We have driven and camped across Australia 3 times but I still need to visit the ACT and Tasmania before I can say I have been to every state and territory of Australia. My philosophy is, that no matter how much of a rubbish time you are having, 'Find something good in everyday!'.
